If there is one thing I've learned how to do, and do well, it's survive the school year.
A mix of university courses, a part time job, a house to take care of, friends to see, family to visit, & stores to shop at - can be super overwhelming.
But hey, we galls are tough cookies right?
It's no wonder that we can multitask so well.
What man can write an essay, watch Vampire Diaries, blog & talk on the phone at (almost) the same time.
Boys, you've got a LOT to learn.
Try to keep up why don't cha ;)
So here are a few of my secret weapons.
Bright Nail Polish - I've been wearing the vibrant blue ALL week. It really works I promise. Next time you're taking notes in class and feel super down - look down at your freshly manicured nails and you'll be smiling in NO time at all.
(Pssst.. It's Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Pacific Blue)
Chocolate Almonds - A little chocolate boost for your noggin & some good fats that together make the perfect snack for when you're stressing out. I put a hand full into a zip-lock and tote them around in my purse. Careful though, the buggers like to melt.
Mini Breaks - A walk at lunch, half an hour of checking out my fav blogs, coffee, read a magazine...anything that takes me away from whatever it is I'm doing. Superwoman took breaks from superhero'ing - known fact.
What are some of your hidden survival secrets? Sharing is caring after all :)

I LOVE chocolate covered almonds! they're my weakness :P
Katya, why are you so darn cute?! Amen to the mini breaks--I also check blogs for half an hour, or I stand outside for a few minutes and just remember to BREATHE, etc. Or I just look at something pretty or listen to a feel-good song on repeat a couple times. And YES on the candy break! But mine doesn't have protein--chocolate covered raisins! haha

ooohh looking very sophisticated in this look, katya! i especially like the tights, they keep the look young & modern. i graduated from college a few years ago, but my main back-to-school tip is a pretty obvious one.. coffee! i can't get enough of seasonal coffees like pumpkin that only come around this time of year, it almost makes getting back to classes worth it. almost.

What a lovely blog you have here! I adore your burgundy tights with that horse blouse. I've been seeing it around blogland, but I just love the way you styled it with the tights and booties. I have a v. similar blue nail polish (Essie's Coat Azure) that I love, so much more versatile than you think!
