Anyone remember way back? That time when kids were meanie pants to each other & compliments would go something like this: "You're funny ... Funny looking!" or "You're pretty ... Pretty ugly". Sticks and stones.
My preteen self had a broken heart. Yet, somehow 'pretty ugly' has become a trend that I'm love love loving as a 20-something gall.
'Ugly Pretty' nail polishes are my favorite for Fall. Ogre Green? Mud Brown? Concrete Grey? Yes, yes and yes please!
Yesterday I painted my nails OPI's A-Taupe the Space Needle && asked the boyfriend what he thought. "It looks a little like a muddy swamp" . . . He sure knows how to flatter this girl.

Love love love this outfit! And I completely agree on the nail polish. Aparently I have an affinity for wedding colors. Make that wedding-name colors because the colors are actually black and gray. Not my personal vision for a wedding but I'm pretty sure nail polish color namers spend entirely too much time smelling polish.

HAHA that is hilarious! My sister painted her nails a greenish color this week, and needless to say, our Mommy wasn't too thrilled - she thought it looked "sick" in a bad way! There's nothing ugly about your look, though - I love the stripes with the red scarf! You look so perfect for fall! :)
