Ever sat in front of your gorgeous bay window, sipping some tea/coffee/hot chocolate, enjoying the fantastic view from your living room window and noticed a couple of creepers, peeking into your house, taking photos, and making monkey "OOH AHH" faces? Hate to break it to you, but that might or might not have been boyfriend & I this weekend.
One of our favorite date nights goes something like this: get in the car and drive to the most expensive, ritzy, and magnificent areas of Toronto, proceed to spend $7 on a cup of coffee, then march up and down the streets admiring the real estate and crossing our fingers that one day we'll get lucky and win the lottery. Or that eventually the speedy gonzalez housing market here slows down even a little for us to catch up.
But we're not hopeless dreamers, we hold our heads up, but always keep our nose at a friendly level.

We love doing this too! It's one of our favorite pastimes! If it's raining, we'll stay in and get our info via Zillow. :) Happy Sunday!
Ahh I can't wait until I can buy my own house. And your outfit is gorgeous! I Love the colour of the tights <3
Although I find this depressing a bit, because we are in the same boat...I completely understand!! In Cleveland we wish we could take advantage of the plethora of homes available, but we can't. Here's to dreaming.
I secretly love doing this too. When people are out walking and I'm driving through the neighbourhood I always pretend I'm pulling out of my driveway cause they'll be like "oh lucky girl"...except I never fool them..
My goal in life is to win the lottery! haha, or a least a BIG hope.
You look totally gorg & I love the tights! I have a mustard pair and never know what to pair them with! Good inspiration :)
that's hilarious!
Cheap dates are sometimes the BEST dates!!! Hubby and I like going on drives. We crank up the music, sing, and sight see. And we have totally creeped on houses/landscaping we've liked.
p.s. love the necklace!

Oh girl, I do the same exact thing except I bike around and sudden stop (ie almost crash into something) everytime I see a dream house.
Also, LOVIN' on those tights. I had a pair too but my boyfriend stole them for his Halloween costume so, um, yeah they don't fit anymore.
My H and I do that from time to time too. It's kind of fun driving around dreaming of what could be....
1. You are adorable.

Haha, that first paragraph cracked me up. I love looking at dream houses and wishing I lived in them :) Someday!
The yellow tights are so fun!
This sounds like a nice idea for a date. I don't think I'd mind seeing you guys out my window if I were one of those people. It'd probably be entertaining :)
<3 Rachel
The boyfie and I should do that too. We cruise around every now and that to go house hunting or just admire the pretty houses that we hope we could have one day too when we have a family of our own. =)
Nice job with the colored tights! There is an EBEW today with colored tights. I'm going to miss out on this one (boo!) but you should post it!

Me neither! So excited to get out into the real world. Only a year to go before we dive in!
Here is to dreams slowly becoming a reality!
Glad I could be a little inspiring!
You're too funny, that's like when I stand near really expensive cars and try to look non challant ;) All in good fun though!
In the winter, drives are the only option! Plus you cover so much more ground that way ;)
I just laughed out loud in class. Totally worth it, trying to picture a guy make his way into mustard yellow tights! Brave boy you have there ;)

I do this too! We always drive around dreaming! I really like the brick house you pictured by the way.
But I have to say, you and your boyfriend sound so sweet. I was looking at some of your older posts and saw the note he wrote you. So cute. I hope you too always stay very happy together... (and get a KILLER gorgeous House one day :):)
Wish you all the best on your search! Enjoy the heck out of it!
Cute! Love your jacket!!!
OMG!! I loveeee outfit! the tights are great! what a beautiful fall day!
Ha, I love peeking into fancy houses - definitely a fun activity. I love the bright tights - very pretty!
I also wore mustard tights todayYY!! These look fantastic on you and I LOVE how you styled them with the baggy sweater and riding boots.
My boyfriend and I do the same thing in South End Halifax. It is so fun to walk around beautiful homes exploring.
I love EBEW and am really bumming that I missed this one (with all the traveling and what not, it just wasn't going to happen by today). I think I'm just going to do it anyway and post a few days later. Oh well! :)
Glad you got a chance to!
House hunting is also a hobby of mine. What an awesome post of you. Anyway, i love the red brick house.. very contemporary and cozy at the same time. Nice photos you got there.
hey I participated in the EBEW challenge too, came across your link && I love that you kept everything neutral and let the tights stand on their own! haute!

Those are some pretty amazing pictures and what a fun way to spend time daydreaming! Love those awesome yellow tights!
When I lived with my grandparents, we would frequently visit neighborhoods with swanky houses and drive around rating each house. So I totally understand where you're coming from.
And I must mention that I love your mustard tights with the neutral colors. Perfection!
Those yellow tights are fantastic! Love your coat and your boots too!
