Shirt from H&M Sweater/Boots from Winners Pants/Hat from F21 Socks from AE
I have been wanting to adopt a puppy from the pound for over a year now. But with our super hectic schedules, boyfriend and I have no time to pick up after ourselves - not to mention a little bundle of joy. When we moved in together I had to leave my princess at my parents, and I definitely don't have the heart to take her away from my dad. He already lost one gall from the house, I don't think he'll handle it too well. He calls her his new daughter. I miss you too dad. But I'm right here, promise!
So now whenever I see those cute fuzzy noses at the shelter, I just want to hide one in my enormously large winter jacket and take the little tyke home. But instead, I go shopping. Fair tradeoff right? Then, when I see stores that are closing, and having up to 70% off lovely boots, well I can't say no. While I definitely don't try stuffing them in my jacket, I do buy them. Very legal here folks.
Just because they are unwanted, last season and ridiculously discounted (see the puppy resemblance here?)...does not mean they won't show you the same amount of love as those other pricey designer ones. They've got a lot of years of loving left in them.
**PS. I am not allowed to buy more boots. Boyfriend forbids me. For one reason only - there is no longer any room in the closet. Make that in either of the closets.

I know for sure I would completely miss not having a dog around, even if they are a bit high maintenance.
But clothes make an alright shopping substitute.
And shoes... well forbidden or not if you found the perfect pair, i suspect you'd bring them home.
Aw! I can kind of relate. I would LOVE a dog, but I just can't right now. :( Boots will have to do... darn. haha!

Love the colour of your hat and the print on your shirt! And I guess when closets are full you've reached the limit... On the other hand, you could invade another closet or get a new wardrobe :)
Loving the contrast between the yellow in the hat and your dark hair! Looks so pretty! That sweater looks cozy too and I think if I had those pants I'd wear them everyday. Lovely!

I really wanted a puppy too, but we rescued a kitten instead. She's a lot easier to leave at home all day (she just sleeps, we think), but she greets us at the door when we come home from work, the way a dog would. And she fetches. Best of both worlds? Yup.

I hear ya girl, I promised the hubs I wouldn't buy anything for myself before christmas...however, that totally didn't work.

Great outfit! I am also banned from buying new footwear and I have to say I think the boy has a point our downtown condo is at capacity! :) Hence no dog for me I would also love one but I just don't think it would be fair as we are both away at work all day...I miss my three doggies at home in Ireland but hopefully I'll see them in feb when I make a trip back x
