Dress from FCUK Leg Warmers/Belt from H&M Boots from Steve Madden Necklace from Winners
**the scarf was a gift
I heard this story about a University student in Toronto (and take this with a grain of salt, people have very creative minds) who might have written the most epic essay in the history of ever.
It was a philosophy final, and the broad question that the professor asked the class was:
"Why?"
The entire class spent the whole three hours mauling over their essays, while one particularly awesome guy finished in aproximately a minute and handed in his paper. He later got his final mark, which was an A+. He had written two simple words (and a punctuation):
"Why not?"
A pretty good philosophy to live by ;)

that's cute, but doesn't exactly answer the question!
Love that necklace and your bun is looking pretty fabulous!
You can't beat a look that's comfy and cute- I love the pictures!!!

My mom always taught me, never answer a question with a question ;)
I love how you wrapped the belt around the scarf. Great way to maintain the tiny waistline! Plus, that scarf is amazing!
Also, thank you for your sweet comments on my blog (District Dress Up). I am a HUGE sale shopper and snagged a ton of great FCUK dresses. At the end of the season, they marked down most of their dresses (from $200 to $120ish) and then added a 50% off of all sale items. They usually do this december/january so I'd pop in one day if you have a store near you! Also, I've sold a ton of my FCUK dresses on EBbay for around $50/$60 and noticed a lot of great pieces on there. That is also a good place to look if you like a piece from a previous season.
Anyway, my comment turned into a novel! Love your blog and thanks so much for checking out mine!
That's amazing! Honestly that's so epic. And kind of inspirational :) Thanks for sharing! And I really love your belted scarf :)
Awesome story!:) And your outfit is gorgeous as always!:)Xx
wow! you are beautiful. you're glowing! and that is hilarious. I wonder if I would have been smart enough to come up with "why not?". ha ha.
I love how you've belted your scarf! And those boots- love!!

Why not is right! :)
You look lovely, all the layers here are gorgeous!
Love love the scarf, not just because of the brand but also the colour and the stracture of it.
Why not- great answer. I think if I had gotten this topic on a test I would've written so much crap haha
Your bun look perfect! And what a way to earn an A+. I wish it were that easy.

I just found your blog and look forward to reading more. Hahah on Why Not. As a teacher, I've had some pretty awesome work turned in that qualified under the more is less scenario. :) Beautiful outfit and I love the idea of the socks outside of the boots!
I absolutely love this.
And that outfit of yours.
As a teacher, part of me is like, "smart ass" but then considering it was a philosophy class a "why not?" answer seems appropriate and it made me smile. Thanks for that post.
Love it! Good story. Also, I love the outfit. Very cute. Also, the scarf was an awesome gift. :-)

Thanks so much! Speaking of awesome work turned in by students - I think you'll really appreciate this site: http://shitmystudentswrite.tumblr.com/
Oh so many teachers commenting. I have to share this link with all of you guys! I think you'll really enjoy it! http://shitmystudentswrite.tumblr.com/
Ditto, my hand would have been so sore after three hours of trying to cram every possible word into the essay. If only all answers were as simple as "Why not?"
Thanks so much! Making me blush over here - probably not the kind of glowing you meant ha ha ;)
It's a good thing I love to read ;)
Thanks for the awesome tips! I'm always swooning over their dresses, especially around the holiday season!
Haha that's an awesome little story :) Love your outfit and the pop of color the belt adds. I'm a new follower!

Love your boots/socks combo! That story's so funny, I heard a similar one but the question was 'What is bravery?' and they wrote 'This is bravery.' And left it at that! Who knows if it's true though xx
I think the message is what's so great about both of those stories. I doubt they're true, but, makes one wonder doesn't it :) xx
I *love* that site. It's hilarious and I admit: I have a small black book that I have been using since I was hired ten years ago that is filled with funny student stories. When I have a bad day I go in to look for a laugh :)
great outfit hun! love that LV scarf :)
Always a fan of all black! Can't go wrong. You look great!
I love the belted scarf look so much and the over-the-knee socks+boot combo is great as well!
Stylin' as always lady!'
